Rice Chex

Have you heard? We now have a mainstream GF cereal again! That’s right, Rice Chex are now gluten free! Thank you thank you thank you!
Be sure you get one of the new boxes which are labeled “gluten free” as there may still be some boxes of the old formulation hanging out on the shelves (like at MY store). The gluteny formulation has barley malt in it.

I picked up two boxes today. They say “Gluten Free” right on the front! The trick will be to keep the rest of the family from devouring them before I get the chance. It’s five against one.
I am so excited about the Rice Chex. I was diagnosed about a month ago, and my daughter is going gluten free also to see if it helps her digestive problems. Anyway, I was resigned to giving up cereal for breakfast or buying very spendy gf cereal that I might not even like. I’ve always enjoyed Rice Chex - I think I’m on my fifth box! But fo $2.88/box at Walmart, you can’t beat it!
